SOIL MULCH
Buckwheat husks are used as mulch. Buckwheat husk mulch contains a lot of organic matter, no additional fertilization will be required.
This mulch does not acidify the soil and prevents the growth of weeds. Buckwheat husks do not absorb moisture, so during rain or irrigation, water flows directly through the soil. Buckwheat husk mulch dries quickly, creating an insulating layer, so the soil retains moisture much longer than after regular irrigation, if it is left unprotected from direct sunlight. In addition, buckwheat husks can be used to decorate your garden or yard. It is important to keep in mind that buckwheat husks are small and loose, so it is recommended to water buckwheat husk mulch several times after mulching or apply mulch before rain.
FILLING
Buckwheat hulls are a natural and renewable filling for pillows, mattresses and other textiles. They are high quality, purified and pesticide-free, so your buckwheat-filled products will be durable and environmentally friendly. Buckwheat hulls are dimensionally stable and will keep their shape for many years, but after a while they start to lose some elasticity. You can always replace old buckwheat hulls with new ones. Although buckwheat hulls do not absorb moisture, moisture can weaken them and make them less durable, so do not wash textiles with buckwheat hulls. For one pillow you need aprox 4kg.
